hiking trip - Fire and Ice Own Tour
You too can embark on a particularly varied tour that will take you high up to the most beautiful peaks, as well as across wooden moorland footbridges and along dreamlike lakes. From the famous Herzogstand you have a breathtaking view over the Bavarian Caribbean - the Walchensee - as well as the Kochelsee. The moor area around the Staffelsee will let you marvel at the special flora and fauna and relax deeply in the quiet atmosphere. Finally, you will hike a remnant of the ice age, the Osterseen.

| River Isar, caves and Mount Calvary Hike along the wild Isar River and enjoy the nature reserve of the Isarauen. Take a short, steep climb to the Wackersberger Höhe and along the edge of a forest across meadows to Wackersberg. You will finally reach the hidden natural monument Badger Caves. Now you follow the narrow hiking trail through shady forest along an idyllic stream again in the direction of Bad Tölz. Finally, you climb up to the most famous sight of Bad Tölz - the Calvary. The church with its two towers towers majestically over Bad Tölz. The view is indeed rewarding. |

| Three Peaks Tour Our transfer brings you today to Wackersberg to the starting point of your hike. Look forward to three of the most beautiful peaks in the Isarwinkel with fantastic views all the way to Munich. Along the Steinbach you will reach an alpine pasture landscape with grazing donkeys. Sporty it goes further on a stony path through the forest uphill until you reach the first peak of the Heiglkopf. Enjoy the view before continuing to the Blomberg summit and finally to a stop at the Blomberghaus. Here you can sunbathe on the spacious terrace. Afterwards, its another sporty climb to the highest and last o... weiterlesenf the three peaks - the Zwiesel. Finally, you descend via a path to Benediktbeuern, where you will spend the night today. |

| The moor path along the Loisach till Kochel After yesterdays strenuous mountain tour, todays route is flat and relaxed to Kochel am See. Start your tour at the famous Benediktbeuern Monastery and visit the herb garden and biotopes. As you continue, you will reach an exciting moorland adventure trail. Wooden plank paths and a moor raft let you immerse yourself in the wonderful forest and moor world and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Afterwards, you will hike along the quiet Loisach River through wide moorland upstream to Kochel. There, a visit to the beautiful Kristall-Therme directly on the lake is definitely worthwhile. |

| Panorama Tour Today you can look forward to a long and beautiful tour. Take the bus to Walchensee and make a sporty ascent to Heimgarten. Here begins the absolute highlight of this tour - the ridge traverse to the Herzogstand. On a fantastic path, lined with pine trees, you will have a wonderful view of the Kochelsee and Walchensee lakes as you climb relatively breezily to the second panoramic mountain. Descent via an idyllic path. For the ridge crossing, surefootedness and a head for heights are required. If you are afraid of heights, this variant is not recommended. Alternatively, hike in serpentines alon... weiterleseng a beautiful hiking trail directly to the Herzogstand (or take the cable car). Descent via easy driveway. Take the public bus back to your accommodation. |

| To Lake Staffelsee In the morning transfer to Murnau. From Murnau you will hike into the wide Murnauer Moos, which is rich in views. Partly on wooden plank paths you will walk through the untouched nature and finally to the Staffelsee. You will walk around half of the lake and should take the opportunity to dive into the pleasantly warm water. You return to Murnau either by train or by boat. Two shortened variants are possible. |

| Caribbean Feeling at the Osterseen Our transfer takes you in the morning to Iffeldorf, a small cozy village on the enchanting Easter Lakes. On easy paths you will circle the picturesque remnants from the ice age. Some small islands adorn the impressive water landscape and again and again vantage points on the moor and lake landscape invite you to linger. After the hike, the transfer will take you back to Bad Tölz, where you will spend your last night. |

Other notes
To ensure a stress-free start to the trip, we recommend arriving at the starting point by early evening in most cases. Some tours start as early as midday, in which case we recommend arriving the day before and will be happy to book an extra night for you at the same time. The individual return journey takes place on the last day of the tour. The distances are approximate and may differ from the actual distances covered. This tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Tour Charakter
The hikes are mainly on easy hiking trails. More challenging are the two mountain tours to the Zwiesel and especially to the Herzogstand. Here you also hike on paths. The ridge crossing from Heimgarten to Herzogstand requires a head for heights and surefootedness, but can also be skipped. Otherwise, you should have a good basic condition to enjoy the hikes with a duration of up to seven hours relaxed.
Arrival
By train over Munich with the RBB (Regional Bavarian railways) once per hour. By car on the A8 in southern direction (Salzburg) follow the signs at Exit Bad Tölz
Minimum number of participants
If a minimum number of participants is required for the tour to take place, this is stated under "Prices and services". If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to four weeks before the "arrival date". We recommend organizing the arrival and departure only after this deadline has passed.
7-day carefree number
No matter how well planned a trip is, in rare cases unexpected things happen. At such times, it is nice to have someone you can rely on locally. For this reason, you have a local contact person on our individual activity trips who will be happy to provide you with information and, as stated in the travel documents, can be contacted in an emergency.
