Isar Cycle Route Classic-Tour

(ca. 33 km - Ascending ca. 112 hm - Descending ca. 352 hm)
Upon arrival, you will start your first stage in the Alps in Mittenwald. From here to Fall you have the option of riding along the mountain river or the sporty cyclists can also take the variant over the Rauchenberg.

(ca. 55 km - Ascending ca. 67 hm - Descending ca. 184 hm)
Todays route gives you the opportunity to enjoy nature and the beautiful landscape extensively. Until Lenggries, the route then goes along the Isar River. Take the opportunity to visit the impressive old town of Bad Tölz. From Bad Tölz you will ride today through the small towns of Osterhof, Königsdorf, Geretsried and Gartenberg until you finally reach the Loisach-Isar canal and Gelting.

(ca. 47 km - Ascending ca. 55 hm - Descending ca. 196 hm)
On your way today, you will pass Schäftlarn Monastery and drive through Grünwalder Forst directly to Grünwald. Now you will ride to Munich. (We will be happy to include an overnight stay in Munich). Continue through the English Garden, past the Chinese Tower, to your stage destination Ismaning.

(ca. 67 km - Ascending ca. 5 hm - Descending ca. 103 hm)
Today the route goes from Ismaning to Freising through a kind of no mans land, where only every few kilometers a bridge brings you back to civilization. From Moosburg there are again two variants to ride to Landshut: the variant on the high bank on the hills above the Isar or stay on the main route along the Isar to Landshut.

(ca. 67 km - Ascending ca. 5 hm - Descending ca. 80 hm)
From Landshut you drive first to Niederaichbach and further to Dingolfing. From here you take the dirt road to Landau. From here you will reach Plattling either along the shore again or you take the variant through the interior. With todays stage destination you have reached your final destination. You now have the option of riding to the Donau and back the next day, or simply resting for another night and exploring the beautiful surroundings.
