KAT Walk

Designed as a long-distance hiking trail, the KAT Walk promises pure hiking enjoyment amidst the imposing mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. The route, which is marked throughout with the KAT Walk logo as a red mountain hiking trail, is offered in 3 variants (KAT Walk Alpine, KAT Walk Compact, KAT Walk Family) with different lengths (8 or 7 days) and leads in exciting daily stages from Hopfgarten im Brixental via Kirchberg and St. Johann in Tirol to St. Ulrich am Pillersee. Experienced hikers with hiking equipment, sure-footedness and fitness await gentle grassy mountains, natural alpine pastures and idyllic lakes - in the impressive mountain world of the Kitzbühel Alps. If you want something a little less challenging, you can shorten it with the KAT Walk Kompakt variant with cable cars, whereby all cable car rides are already included in the tour price for the KAT Walk Kompakt Easy variant with the Kitzbühel Alps Summer Card. KAT Walk Family integrates exciting adventure programs on the tour. The packages include selected quality accommodation ranging from cozy inns to exclusive 4-star hotels, meals with breakfast or the finest half-board, luggage transport from accommodation to accommodation, detailed information and map material including GPS navigation data for mobile navigation and luggage tags as well as the return journey by bus/train to the starting point.
